Mr. Cromarty is the president of Cromarty & Company, an entertainment public relations firm which for over 30 years has had the pleasure of representing some of New York's finest productions and performing artists. From Broadway and Off Broadway to regional theatre, dance, cabaret, and cultural institutions & organizations, Cromarty & Co. has been an industry leader in providing the unique link between client and media. Based in Manhattan with satellite offices in Palm Beach and Boston, Cromarty & Co.'s boutique business model and consistently clever campaigns have won scores of satisfied clients.

Mr. Cromarty counts among some of his favorite clients --- the record-breaking Broadway production of "Victor/Victoria" starring Julie Andrews, Liza Minnelli and Raquel Welch; the Broadway/National Tour production of "Damn Yankees" starring Jerry Lewis; the 20th Anniversary production of "Annie" starring Nell Carter; the National Tour of Steve Martin's hit play "Picasso at the Lapin Agile;" and "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat starring the 2nd Generation of the Osmonds. Additional Broadway clients have included the first Broadway revival of the “The Sound of Music” starring Richard Chamberlain and Laura Benanti, the hit dance musical “Swing,” the Tony Award-winning production of “Liza’s at the Palace” starring the one and only Liza Minnelli, "Busker Alley" starring Tommy Tune, "On the Waterfront" starring Penelope Anne Miller, the Tony-nominated "Say Goodnight Gracie" starring the iconic Frank Gorshin (as well as its National Touring version), the National Touring company of "Some Like it Hot," starring Tony Curtis and the Off Broadway hits "Tryst," "Room Service," "The Prince and the Pauper," “THWAK, ” “Godspell,” "Mambo Mouth" starring John Leguizamo and “Naked Boys Singing.” Other memorable productions include "The Only Thing Worse..." starring Dan Butler and Greg Louganis and the London production of Jerry Herman's "Mack and Mabel." More recent clients include pre-Broadway production of "White Noise," the hilarious national tour "Dixie's Tupperware Party," America's preeminent G&S organization, New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players as well as the Outer Critics Circle and their Annual OCC awards. A sampling of Broadway touring credits also includes "Fame - The Musical," "Dirty Blonde," "Tuna Does Vegas" and "Guys and Dolls" starring Maurice Hines and the first Soviet/American tour of “Sophisticated Ladies.” Previous season clients have included Broadway’s "An Evening with Jerry Herman," "More to Love," "Jolson" and Continental Airlines presents "My Favorite Broadway --- the Leading Ladies" at Carnegie Hall. Former music clients include "Kenny Loggins on Broadway" and "Linda Ronstadt on Broadway," in addition to numerous artists who have appeared at such venues as ‘, The Rainbow and Stars, The Oak Room, The Metropolitan Room, The Ballroom and Don't Tell Mama, as well as on the Polygram, Philips Classics and Mercury record labels. A sample of his regional clients include the award-winning Palm Beach Dramaworks and America's longest-running professional summer theatre, The Cape Playhouse and Sarasota’s Florida Studio Theatre.

From the Easter Egg Roll at the White House and the Moscow Circus to the League of American Producers and Theatre Owners and the Alliance of Resident Theaters/New York's "Passports to Off-Broadway" program, Cromarty & Co. has represented entertainment clients of all levels. Festival representation has included the 200-event "Cultural Festival of Gay Games IV" which included "Ian McKellen: A Knight Out at the Lyceum," the highly regarded biennial "International Festival of Puppet Theater" for the Henson Foundation and New York's ever-popular Ballroom Week. Dance companies Cromarty & Co. has represented include the Kirov Ballet Company, the Bolshoi Dance Company, the American Ballroom Theatre, the Georgian State Dance Company, Elisa Monte Dance, Jazz Dance, Jennifer Muller/The Works and Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana. Mr. Cromarty has represented a variety of theatre organizations including The Traveling Puerto Rican Theatre, The Peccadillo Theatre Company, The Penguin Repertory Theatre, The Ridiculous Theatrical Company, Ubu Repertory Theatre, Manhattan Class Company, Music Theatre Group, INTAR Theatre, AMAS Theatre Company, The Lamb's Theatre Company, Musical Theatre Works, Pan Asian Theatre Company, Queens Theatre in the Park, Manhattan Theatre Club and The Japan Society. Previous Broadway and Off Broadway shows include "Jolson," "Jerry's Girls," "All My Sons," "Song and Dance," "The Nerd," "The No-Frills Revue," "Dudley Moore: A Man For All Seasons," "Closer than Ever," "Oba Oba," "Smoke on the Mountain," "Gifts of the Magi," "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh!," "A...My Name is Alice," "The Kathy & Mo Show," and "Bugs Bunny on Broadway."

Mr. Cromarty is a former member of the Press Committee for the League of American Theaters and Producers and has served as Vice President of Public Information for the New York City Opera Guild. He held the office of Co-Director of Queens Theatre in the Park, where he founded New York City’s 31st major Cultural Institution. He has held press and administrative positions at Rhode Island's Theatre-by-the-Sea and Newport Casino Theatre, East Hampton's John Drew Theatre, and Radio City Music Hall (where he started as one of its legendary "pages.") He also served as a consultant on numerous fund-raising galas and events. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts and Economics as well as a Masters of Fine Arts in theatre management from Columbia University.

Accomplished as a young actor, Mr. Cromarty's favorite role on the stage was co-starring in the 60th anniversary production of "Fly with Me," the only show that Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein II co-wrote and can be heard on the show's award-winning CD recording.
